The impact of organisational culture on the ethical standards and moral practices of people in organisations has become increasingly common (Fisse Braithwaite, 1983). Managers within organisations are now turning to organisational culture to not only to explain what happens in organisations, but also to attempt to shape what happens in the organisation (Sinclair, 1993). This process requires clear identification and articulation of a corporate strategy, philosophy or mission.
